
Tine Desmet studied Psychology and is currently working as a doctoral researcher at the Research Group Crime & Society (CRiS) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB). Her doctoral research focuses on youth at social risk in the context of Brussels. She more specifically investigates participatory practices in youth organizations from the perspectives of policymakers, Brussels organizations, youth workers and the young members and participants in these organizations, with the aim to inventor, describe and enhance good participatory practice for youth at social risk in Brussels.
